Shared 3 Days tour from Fes to Merzouga desert and Fes : Tour Starting from Fez, Desert Tour from Fez

Introduction :

We will start this morning tour by picking you up from your hotel or Riad in Fez, the former imperial city, and we will travel through the Middle Atlas through Ifrane, the Moroccan Switzerland, Azrou, cedar forest, passing through several cities, Midelt (the Apple Capital), Tizi N'Talghomt Pass (1907m), Palm Valley. Erfoud, Rissani, Merzouga desert, 4 × 4 around Erg chebbi, landscape, nomad, camel trekking, pass in the Gnawa Music Berber tents and we will return on our way to fes.

Program details :

1 Day 1 : Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Midelt – Er-Rachidia – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi

After meeting in the place we had agreed. We will start our journey to the southeast through the Middle Atlas through Ifrane, the Moroccan Switzerland ”, then Azrou, where we will make a stop in the famous cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, to see and play with the Berber apes . From here we drive further south through several cities and you will have the opportunity to see nomads living in tents along the way. Then we will stop at Midelt where you can enjoy your lunch. Later, we continue our trip to Merzouga through the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m) while enjoying the panoramic views. You will also have a stop for a panoramic view of the Aoufous palm tree along the Ziz River. At the end of the day we will continue towards the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, (Merzouga). Arrive at the hotel where you will spend the night.

2 Day 2 : 4×4 Tour Around Erg Chebbi dunes

After breakfast, we will start driving to explore the small villages around the dunes of Erg Chebbi like Khamlia Merzouga and Hassi, where we will stop in the garden to see the irrigation system of the canal. Then continue the trip to Merzouga. see Lake Dayet Srji that forms in spring and attracts tufts of pink flamingos and wildlife; Birdwatchers will enjoy this quiet area. On our way to Khamlia known as the people of black people who were slaves from Sudan. We hope to meet locals who show their desert foxes. we also meet desert mammals and reptiles In Khamlia, we will be hospitable with a cup of tea (Berber whiskey) with their spiritual music Gnawa. Leaving Khamlia, our next stop for a picnic lunch in the shade of a tree is the panoramic view of the golden dunes near the border with Algeria. He then continues to visit a nomadic family who lives under a Berber tent and who deals with the herd of cattle, goats and camels. You will be introduced to family members and know their way of life. Later, you will have the opportunity to visit the sites of black volcanic rocks. Then arrive at the panorama near Yasmina Auberge, where you will be surprised with the dune scene besides the nearby lake (spring). Return to your hotel to rest and have a mint tea before starting a camel trip through the sandy dunes of El erg-chebbi. Camel trek through a desert landscape, you will enjoy the beauty of the camel sunset, after 2 hours you will arrive at the desert camp to spend the night in a berber tent. In their desert shelter, their camels are limped and mint tea is served. After a wonderful dinner, there will be a campfire and drummer, dinner and spend the night in a Berber tent.

3 Day 3 : Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud Midelt – Azrou – Fes

Be sure to get up early to witness the beautiful sunrise landscape from the top of the next highest dune. Afterwards, you will calmly return by camel to your Riad, appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi, which change with the light as the day progresses. After taking a shower and having breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for Fez through the High Atlas mountains. On the way, we will pass by Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia, Medilt and Azrou where we will stop for lunch and enjoy. Then you arrive in Fez, where our guide will make sure you arrive at your chosen Riad or hotel. Here we will leave you at your Riad or Hotel.
