During this 12-day tour, we will begin our journey from Tangier to Tetouan through traditional villages. Upon arriving at Chefchaouen (the blue city). After that we will go to Volubilis (the Roman Berber ruins), the imperial city of Meknes, having a full day in Fez with a local guide. crossing the middle Atlas through Ifrane (Moroccan Switzerland), Azrou, cedar forest, passing through several cities, Midelt (the capital of the block), Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m), Palm Valley. Then we will take another road to Marrakech through Rissani Markt, Todra Gorge, Dades Gorge, Ait ben Haddou arriving in Marrakech having a day to visit Essaouira, Full day in Marrakech with a local guide. Driving to Casablanca visiting the Hassan ll Mosque, Rabat, Oudaya Kasbah, the Hassan Tower, Asilah, arriving in Tangier.
After we meet at the Port / Airport, we will transfer you to the hotel and you will have a free program for the rest of the day.
After breakfast we will go to Tetouan. Along the way, we will visit some traditional villages throughout the Jbala region. The region has a lot to offer, such as the scent of the breeze and the fresh air around the hills. We arrive in Chefchaouen and visit the medina walking through the city center, known for its famous square and its markets. We spent one night at a local hotel.
Today we leave for Fez, we will visit Volubilis or "walili", the Roman Berber ruins. Then we head to Meknes, another imperial city with its historical sites. After visiting Meknes, we pass through the most attractive places to Fez, where we will spend the night.
After breakfast we will explore the medina (old city) with a local guide. Fez is one of the largest and oldest cities in the world. We will explore the narrow streets along with a fresh aroma of spices and colorful carpets, as well as many other Moroccan art products. We will visit Kings Palace, the tanneries, the potters and other craftsmen that line the sides. Then we will have lunch in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the Medina and then we will finish the tour and return to our hotel.
On this day we will start our journey to the southeast through the middle Atlas through Ifrane "the Moroccan Switzerland" and then Azrou, where we will make a stop in the famous cedar forest, the largest in Morocco to see and play with the apes of Berbería. From here we drive further south through several cities and you will have the opportunity to see nomads living in tents along the way. Then we will stop at Midelt where you can enjoy your lunch. Later, we continue our trip to Merzouga through the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m) while enjoying the panoramic views. You will also have a stop for a panoramic view of the Aoufous palm tree along the Ziz River. At the end of the day we will continue towards the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, (Merzouga). Arrive at the hotel where you will spend the night.
After breakfast in your riad, you can explore the local area a bit before starting your camel ride; You will visit the Gnawa people, originally from Mali, Senegal and Sudan, in their village Khamlia, where you will learn about their music and their lifestyle. Later, we will drive in the desert area to meet nomadic families to explore their way of life. Today our lunch will be a traditional Berber meal (Berber pizza). You will also have the option to visit the ancient city of Rissani, the foundation of the Alawite dynasty, the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Rissani is surrounded by about 360 ksar (a fortified town with many towers) and has a large souk (an open market), held three times a week. Once called Sijilmassa, this was the meeting place for salt caravans, coming from Tombouctou in Mali. Here you will walk through the souk, selling spices, vegetables and fabrics. Travel back to the town of Merzouga. In the afternoon, you will ride a camel, guided by an experienced camel to explore what is hidden in the middle of the highest sand dunes in Morocco. Dinner will be served in front of the store where you will spend the night.
After watching the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara and having breakfast, we will return on camels to our hotel or Riad. We will continue our journey through Rissani, Alnif and turning towards Toudra Gorge. You will walk along the streams of the Canyons. We continue to the Dades Valley where we will spend the night in a riad or local hotel.
Today we will leave for the High Atlas Mountains through Ouarzazate and visit Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, one of Morocco's film sites. This site has attracted several filmmakers, and many award-winning films were held there, including: Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, the Gladiator and many others. Our lunch will be served in the Kasbah and in the afternoon, we will cross the Tizi n Tishka pass in the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, where we will spend the night in a riad.
Today, after breakfast, we drive to Essaouira, a coastal city and a historically prestigious spot in Morocco. After your arrival, you will discover the ancient streets, museums and castles and the bronze canyons. In the afternoon we return to Marrakech and spend the night in a riad.
Today we will spend the whole day sightseeing in Marrakech, the "travelers magnet" exploring this beautiful city and tourist center of Morocco. We will visit the Medina, its souks, the famous Jamaa el Fna square, the Saadian Tombs, the Menara gardens and the palaces of El Bahía and Badia. We stayed here in a hotel in Marrakech tonight.
Today we go to Rabat, and we will pass through important cities like Casablanca, Rabat (capital of Morocco) where we will visit the Hassan II Mosque. Then we drive north until we reach Assilah, an elegant city on the coast, which shines blue. We spend the night here in a hotel.
After breakfast, we will go to Tangier to finish our tour discovering some of the attractions and then we will take you to the port or the airport before your scheduled departure.
